  • Strange California Divorce News: Cop Files for Divorce from Wife Accused of Sleeping with Teens

An Atwater, California police officer has filed for divorce following his wife’s arrest on charges that she had sex with a friend of her teenage son following a game of strip poker. As detailed in a recent Associated Press story, court records revealed that David Walker filed for divorce days after his 35-year-old wife Anna was arrested in late January for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old boy and having illegal sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy. David Walker filed for divorce on January 30th, the same day that Anna plead not guilty in Stanislaus County Superior Court to all of her charges, which included 12 counts of child endangerment for allegedly giving alcohol to minors.

David Walker is seeking sole custody of the couple’s 8-year-old son. Walker’s divorce papers state that he has pulled the child out of school for the meantime in order to avoid the much public humiliation of his mother’s crime. Walker also stated that his wife’s two other children are from previous relationships.

An online CBS 13 story detailed that Anna Walker-Vogt’s alleged actions came to the attention of local law enforcement after a group of teens which had supposedly been served alcohol during a party at her home was involved in a rollover SUV accident. Walker-Vogt has been accused of serving alcohol to teens and forcing 13 of them to drive home before her husband, a police officer, got home. An 18-year-old driver later crashed the SUV, leaving all of the passengers with injuries. Upon the accident, police were told that Walker-Vogt had served the teens alcohol at the party. Police were later informed of charges that she slept with two teens at an earlier party.

Free on bail, Walker-Vogt faces up to six years in prison if convicted on all of her charges. She was in court last week and described her life as being stressful. Her defense attorney (she’s also in need of a divorce lawyer) asked for more time to review new information in the case. One parent of a teen involved in the case expressed her disbelief at why Walker-Vogt would let such “stuff” occur in her home.
