Unhappy with Divorce Settlement Offer, Wife Allegely Had Husband Killed!
$1 Million Supposedly Wasn’t What Woman Had in Mind during Her Pennsylvania Divorce!
The lover of a woman whose husband he killed testified earlier this week that the murder was contrived by the victim’s wife, who was apparently unhappy with a $1 million settlement offer during her Pennsylvania divorce. Damian Bradford alleged that his lover Donna Moonda, 23 years his senior, hired him to kill her husband, Dr. Gulam Moonda. In exchange for shooting Dr. Moonda, Bradford said he was promised half of the doctor’s estate, which was estimated to be anywhere from $3 million to $6 million dollars. The 25-year-old Bradford also claimed that 48-year-old Donna Moonda told him to make the shooting, which occurred May 13, 2005 along the Ohio Turnpike, look like a robbery. Attorneys for Donna Moonda have denied Bradford’s allegations and claimed that he worked alone and is now lying. Bradford and Donna Moonda met in drug rehab in 2004. If convicted of hiring someone to have her husband killed, Donna Moonda will face the death penalty.
While also on the stand, Bradford testified that he was told to take Dr. Moonda’s wallet and throw it out the window along with the gun that he used. Bradford has already pleaded guilty to interstate stalking and a gun charge and will serve 17½ years in prison as part of his cooperation with authorities.
