Money Refunded for SC Divorce Forms
According to The Sun News, people will receive a refund if they bought divorce forms from A Divorce Fast. The South Carolina Attorney General’s office said that the Canadian service hosted forms that didn’t comply with state laws.
Some people paid $500 to download forms for divorce; however, the company was not licensed to practice law in South Carolina. According to the South Carolina Bar Association, courts turned down the forms, meaning people were out money and without a divorce.
