It looks as though there will be no reconciliation for Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy. Frankel filed for divorce last week in New York City. The reality star couple was married in 2010 and announced their separation right before Christmas.
There had been rumors circulating for months that the couple was going through a tough time and many thought they might reconcile, but Bethenny’s filing last week and recent tweeting say otherwise, as she turns to close friends during this difficult time.
For some reality television fans, this is saddening news, as many watched the early parts of Bethenny and Jason’s relationship on The Real Housewives of New York City.
The relationship continued to grow publicly on Bravo’s spin-off, Bethenny Getting Married? in 2010 which chronicled the couple’s engagement, marriage and the birth of their now 2 year old daughter, Bryn. The premiere episode came is as Bravo’s highest rated reality television show to date.
Returning for a second season, the show aired as Bethenny Ever After. Bethenny Ever After showed Bethenny and Jason’s first years of marriage and adventures in parenting. Unfortunately for them, their marriage did not end happily ever after.
