Recognizing Signs of Divorce

One indicator that your marriage is going sour is the frequency of your fights. When a relationship is ongoing for a long period of time, it can be difficult to gauge whether or not the frequency of your fights is on the rise. If you and your spouse are fighting and unhappy more often than not, it might be time to reevaluate your relationship.

This is an important time to point out that no one knows your relationship better than you and your spouse. Just because you feel that you have a lot of symptoms of a relationship that isn’t going well, it doesn't mean that your relationship is not salvageable.

There are plenty of options for a couple that has identified that their relationship is not going well. It's worth reiterating that a divorce should be a final move only after you're certain. Seeing a therapist, taking a vacation, or even just going out on a special date can be great ways to help fix a damaged relationship.

That being said, another important indicator could be your level of attraction to another person.

Many people feel that, when they are happily married, they have no interest in an extramarital affair. If you felt that way previously, but have recently decided otherwise, it could be a sign that you're not completely happy with your relationship.

Respect is also a key indicator. If you feel that you no longer full respect your spouse, it is probably an indicator that something is wrong with your relationship. Respect is very important in creating a happy and healthy relationship.

Whatever factors you use to determine if your relationship is going to work or not, it is important to be very careful in your decisions and weigh all of your options.
